Registration includes breakfast in CECC atrium, workshop, lunch in CECC
atrium, officer orientation and committee meetings. No sponsored dinner
event, but carpool transportation to local dining options will be organized
by Xi chapter.
Friday, June 15
National Council and Grand Chapter Meeting
Registration includes breakfast in CECC atrium, National Council Meeting
in room 155, lunch in CECC atrium, and Grand Chapter Meeting in room
155.
Evening social event: Wabasha Caves tour and dinner

Symposium
One-day public symposium including:
• luncheon, with keynote speaker, Dr. Rusty Barcelo: VP and Vice Provost for Equity and Diversity, University of Minnesota
• three panels
• a search firm's assessment of possible gender bias in faculty searches
• an evening banquet with keynote speaker.

Dr. Barcelo will discuss a national model for diversity
in higher education. At the end of each panel discussion, the audience
will be invited to participate in a Q&A session. The keynote banquet
speaker will address the National Academics report and what is next
with regards to its implementation. Speakers will be invited from Washington,
D.C. and the Twin Cities area. GWIS will be interested in learning what
we can do as a professional association to further support women in
