Dues/Renewal

New or Renewing Members:

All members of GWIS are invited and encouraged to join a local chapter. We have 17 active chapters and one US and International chapter-at-large.  Please locate your chapter below, click on the “dues on-line” and you will be sent to a secure site outside the GWIS website to pay dues on-line with a credit card.

If you choose not to use a credit card and would rather write a check, then print out the Membership application from the National Brochure (below) and fill it out. Combine the Chapter dues and the National dues and send your check, addressed to “GWIS” for the total amount to the Membership Secretary’s address listed below.

*Transitional Category is new this year-it is for members who are moving in transition; e.g. graduate student to PhD, PhD to post doc, leaving one job and moving to another.

Locate the chapter in the city in which you live; then click on the “Pay Dues on-line” and use your credit card to pay your dues.

Otherwise, download the New Membership Application form in the new GWIS Membership Brochure GWIS Membership Brochure, combine the Chapter and National dues from the table above, and submit a check for the total (made to GWIS). Send with the filled out membership application form to:
