For the third year, leaders in education, policy and workforce development will convene to advance the national STEM agenda.

This year’s theme stands for the mission of U.S. News STEM Solutions: to engage educators, policymakers and business leaders in thought-provoking discussions and share results, successes and collaborative strategies – all aimed at solving the most critical and relevant STEM issues.

April 23-25, 2014

Conference kicks off on Wednesday April 23 with the Opening Keynote a 1:00 p.m., followed by two days of roundtable discussions, workshops, plenary panels and networking events.

Walter E. Washington Convention Center, Washington, D.C.

U.S. News STEM Solutions is now in its third year. The inaugural event was held 2012 in Dallas. In 2013, it took place in Austin where over 1,500 participants from 47 states filled the Convention Center for three days to collaborate and solve STEM’s most critical issues. The event offered 30+ engaging sessions around the theme “Teach. Inspire. Hire” along with keynote appearances from leading advocates in the STEM community. The Exhibit Hall gave attendees direct access to the latest technologies and innovations.

In 2014, U.S. News is bringing STEM Solutions to Washington D.C. – a city brimming with policy makers and thought leaders making it the prime location for this National Leadership Conference. The goal will be to create workable strategies to share with schools and businesses across the nation, nurturing passion and skills in students and young professionals. Participants will leave prepared to take the necessary action to encourage STEM education and employment.

NEW for this year’s program are the Change-Makers: One-on-One sessions and the Executive Workshops where attendees are encouraged to ask questions, debate the experts and fellow audience members, frame the issues, and offer practical solutions and real-life examples.
