Members of International Chapter have successfully utilized social media to stay in touch and be active at promoting science across continents. Members celebrated International Women’s Day (March 8th) together as a group by sharing selfies taken from their various locations using the app WhatsApp. Above, Patricia Silveyra (Pennsylvania, USA), Oluwakemi Rotimi (Nigeria), Gurjot Kaur (Germany) and another friend pose for a group selfie after using WhatsApp to connect at the Society of Toxicology conference in Baltimore on March 12. Way to go using technology and your love of science to stay connected and motivated!!!
