Chapter News
The Hawaii Chapter helped out with Girls on the Run of Hawaii Fall 2017 5k Race on November 18th, 2017! The team organized some outreach activities and ran alongside some of the girls as their personal "Running Buddy." Girls on the Run is a great organization empowering young girls by teaching them life skills through dynamic, conversation-based lessons and running games

The Greater Maryland Chapter co-hosted with the Hood College Graduate School a Speed Mentoring event in November 2017. This was a fast-paced event that included not only incredible speed mentoring by women in STEM, but also useful "key bytes" on LinkedIn, interview skills, and salary negotiation. The event was a success with great turnout and insightful lessons.

The Research Triangle Chapter members and friends celebrated the holidays at the 4th Annual Charity Casino Night at Research Square in Durham. Participants brought a gift to donate to Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Triangle and in exchange received chips to play poker games. With generous sponsors and dedicated organizing team, the event was a big win for everyone. Happy holidays!
