Rho Tau is proud to host the 2016 GWIS National Conference on June 25th 2016. During the National meeting, scientists from all career stages will have the opportunity to network, share their science and gain first-hand science outreach experience at a local science museum.

9am-10am Keynote Dr. Holly Menninger (NC State University, College of Sciences, Director of Public Science)
10am-11am Concurrent Panels
1) Peer review session for Outreach participants
2) Panel session for Careers in Science Outreach
3) Spotlight Speaker: Dr. Elizabeth Weisburger (Cancer Scientist)
11am-12pm Concurrent Oral Presentations
12pm-1pm Lunch (GWIS Fellowship recipients to give oral presentations)
1:30pm Tour of NCSU Library
3pm Tour of JC Arboretum
2pm-4pm Outreach time NC Museum of Natural Sciences (Must sign up within Registration by June 3rd) or
NCSU Arboretum tours
4:30-5:30pm Poster Sessions
6pm-9pm Banquet
