Please Reply to the GWIS Branding Survey

The Branding Committee needs your help! Please take a couple of minutes to fill in the following survey (deadline is July 15th). This questionnaire will be essential for the successful, long-term implementation of the GWIS mission statement and for a thorough understanding of how we view ourselves at this moment in time. We will use your responses to define our mission statement with the allocation of our organization’s resources. Thank you!

2015 GWIS National Conference

The GWIS National Conference was a great success! June 18th-20th, GWIS officers, chapter representatives, Nu chapter members and the Penn State community met for our national business meetings and a Saturday symposia entitled "Science Beyond the Bench". Included were an exciting set of workshops (Banging Out The Data: Meaning Making Through Silence & Sound and Reaching a Broader Audience in Science Outreach), social events, a talk at the PSU planetarium, a Saturday evening banquet and a well-attended poster session. Thanks go to Nu Chapter President Anna Bloom, and the Nu National Meeting Planning Committee for an engaging and well-executed conference.

Graduate Women in Science has joined the Million Women Mentors movement!!! Million Women Mentors is a collaboration of partners across the nation working to support the mission of engaging one million science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) mentors to increase interest and engagement of girls and women in STEM programs and careers.
