Los Angeles Chapter's Across the STEMverse symposium was a success! Across the STEMverse strives to give scientists in the LA-wide area the opportunity to meet, seek advice, and network with recruiters and experienced professionals working outside of academia. It also aims to connect individuals from different fields, schools, and backgrounds to foster collaboration. The event took place on Feb. 9th with prominent speakers in the STEM field and round table discussion.

Chicago Chapter recently hosted a "Career in Academia" Discussion with speakers coming from the University of Illinois at Chicago, University of Chicago, and Northwestern University. The panel offered important insights on how to thrive in academia as a female scientist and advice on grant submission, mentorship, and leadership.
