Seeking Volunteers
The Fellowship Committee is looking for enthusiastic GWIS members who want to serve on the committee this year. It is a great opportunity to become involved in GWIS and to help hundreds of women in their academic and professional careers. Fellowship Committee members contact experts and solicit reviews for a portion of approximately 250 applications following the application deadline on January 12th. If you are interested in serving on the committee or have questions, please contact the Fellowships Committee Coordinator, Vicky Cattani, at or click the "Join the Fellowship Committee" button below. Fellowship committee members and fellowship reviewers may not be 2018 fellowship applicants.

Please check our website for guidelines and application instructions, and make sure to read the FAQ section for further information. The deadline for all GWIS Fellowships will be 11:59 pm, Eastern Standard Time, January 12, 2018.

Need advice or have a question facing challenges and obstacles in today's labor market?

For our GWIS Lead series, we have the privilege of interviewing Dr. Lydia Villa-Komaroff. Dr. Villa-Komaroff is a molecular biologist and a founding member of the Society for Advancement of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans in Science (SACNAS) and was one of the first Mexican-American women to earn a doctoral degree in the U.S.

We want your input! Let us know what questions you have related to today's labor market (or any other topics) using the link below.
